Emerging from a mysterious yet familiar source, these drawings reveal the treasures concealed within the darkness. Through play and invention, these images already sleeping inside me are called into the light. It is through the intimacy of the creative process I notice these shadows are alive and stirring… deep meaning hides within the veiled face, the cloaked body, the pine forest, the spotted leopard, the dim cave and of course the midnight oil.
